Why it doesn’t matter that the Vatican denounces “intelligent” design
November 19th, 2005 | by admin |The Vatican recently denounced ID as junk science. No problem, I agree with them because it is just that, junk.
However, the reason this doesn’t matter is because Catholics are not the ones forcing ID and in turn forcing their religion on us, it is the fundies.
They are not going to care that the Catholic church said “intelligent design” isn’t science and doesn’t belong in science classrooms.”
The reason for this is because the fundamentalist Christians do not require logic or reason to believe in something. They will believe anything, anything that supports their ridiculous literal interpretation of the Bible, no matter how many times it is contradicted by real science.
