February 19th, 2006 | by admin |If the United States is not doing anything wrong by performing “rendition” or what I like to call “torture,” why do they have to hide their activities? It is not as if they have to identify their passengers via radio communications, they are simply identifying the aircraft by a call sign. A call sign that belongs to an out of business Canadian airline.
There illustrates the difference between the need for secrecy on matters of intelligence and simply covering one’s ass. And I believe that this case is the latter.
